There have been a number of fraud devices found on cash machines in the West Bridgford area over the last few months, all with similar mechanisms.

Did you know you can go online to influence how we police where you live? We are asking the people of Nottinghamshire to complete a web-based version of our Neighbourhood Priority Survey. In the past, we asked people to tell us what matters to them and what they want police to focus on in their area by completing a paper-based survey. Now, the online survey allows everyone in Nottinghamshire with access to the internet to tell us what issues are affecting them, at a time and place convenient to them.

Sherwood man Matthew Lawlor, who had been reported missing from home last month, has been found safe and well. Thank you to everyone who assisted in the search for Mr Lawlor.

We have received information about an e-mail scam, which was targeted at a resident in Nottinghamshire

Between Sunday 5th and Sunday 12th February 2012 the changing rooms at the sports ground in Orston Notts were broken into. Metal items were taken including the goal posts. Nottinghamshire Trading Standards have received information about alarm companies telephoning vulnerable residents and offering free home alarm systems.

Nottinghamshire County Council trading standards officers are warning local parents to be on the lookout for unsafe baby dummies.

Older and disabled people are being urged to attend one of two extra electric blanket safety check events, after tests elsewhere in Nottinghamshire found that six in every ten blankets were faulty and potentially dangerous.

A man and a youth are in police custody having been arrested on suspicion of stealing lead from houses in Bingham.
